syncreon has achieved ISO27001 certification

ISO27001 certification is an internationally recognized standard that defines best practices for an information security management system (ISMS)
The syncreon IT Security Team is pleased to announce that syncreon has achieved ISO27001 certification at our Dublin, Duisburg and Hinckley sites. By achieving this certification, syncreon has demonstrated that we are following the recognized best practices of information security.

Through a shared common framework, ISO27001 integrates directly with other international standards that syncreon has achieved: ISO9001 for Quality Management and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management. To achieve ISO27001certification, our IT Security team worked with customer operations teams and a range of other internal departments to perform a complete overhaul and realignment of IT Security Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions, and management guidance and to produce a cohesive ISMS (Information Security Management System). This ISMS is now established and is currently supporting our global operations. It has also provided a robust framework of information security measures to protect our business going forward.

Julian Mordaunt, syncreon CIO, said, “This certification is an achievement that clearly differentiates our company in the 3PL and logistics management space. Our next objective is to expand the number of ISO 27001 certified sites throughout our global network of facilities.”
