This Month Marks the 50th Anniversary of Global Earth Day

April 22, 2020 is the 50th anniversary of Global Earth Day. The first Earth Day in 1970, launched a wave of action, including the passage of landmark environmental laws in many countries. Today, the day continues to hold major international significance.

This year, the theme for Global Earth Day is climate action. While an enormous challenge, it is one with many opportunities.
At syncreon, we are proud of our culture of innovation and continuous improvement and we are always searching for new ways to improve systems, processes and facilities to reduce our impact on the environment. We highly value not only environmental preservation overall, but the preservation of the communities in which we operate.

In addition, environmental issues are a primary concern of our business operations – we actively set goals which exceed legal and regulatory requirements. Some examples include: ISO certifications; Reducing carbon emissions; Efficient product packaging; Reducing utility consumption; Recycling materials and waste reduction.
