syncreon Sites Recommended for ISO45001 Certification
syncreon’s Netherlands sites in Waalwijk, Tilburg and Venray have successfully been audited by the National Standard Association of Ireland (NSAI) and have been recommended for transition to ISO 45001 Certification! Congratulations to Mairead Portley (Senior Director Standards & Compliance EMEA) and Andrew Hicks (Senior Regional QEHS Manager EMEA Tech), and team members Barrie Maas and Loek van Sas for their work towards this achievement!
The new ISO 45001 standard for safety was released in March 2018, and thanks to our history with OHSAS 18001 and our transitions to the newest standards for Quality and the Environment, syncreon was ready to meet it.
Team lead Mairead Portley said, “syncreon EMEA started our safety journey in 2008 when we were successfully accredited to OHSAS 18001. Two years ago we started our journey to upgrade our safety systems to meet the new requirements from ISO. In July 2018 we successfully accredited our sites in the Netherlands to ISO 45001, becoming the first supply chain company to achieve this new standard. We are delighted to be at the forefront of safety management and are proud of our teams for this achievement.”
Our sites in Poland are next up for the ISO Certification audit in late September, and we are confident that they will follow in the footsteps of our Netherlands locations. Well done to the syncreon Waalwijk, Tilburg and Venray teams for this prestigious achievement!
