syncreon Achieves TAPA TSR Certification
syncreon’s European transport team achieved Trucking Security Requirements (TSR) accreditation from the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA).
syncreon’s European transport team is pleased to announce that they have recently achieved Trucking Security Requirements (TSR) accreditation from the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA). TAPA TSR 2014 covers policy and procedure requirements, such as: management support and responsibilities protocol, vetting and termination protocols, training protocols, and tracking and tracing protocols. These are paired with physical requirements, such as; physical security, tracking technology, employment criteria, drivers/security training, freight handover process, and Logistics Service Provider (LSP) self-assessment. This certification was selected to formalize the existing Transport Security Program, which includes syncreon’s own TAPA A certified sites, Dual drivers, GDP, and Airfreight trained drivers. TSR provides a common standard of security measures for the transportation of cargo.
Alan Murnane, syncreon Commercial Director in Limerick, Ireland, has complimented assistance from his own colleagues and partners, Novacom, GGL Security, and TIP Trailer Services in accomplishing the certification.
