Takeover of responsibility for GM’s CKD and part-by-part (IPC) export programs occurred seamlessly on November 9th, 2009. From Trotwood (near Dayton), Ohio, parts and vehicle kits for multiple models will be consolidated, packed and shipped to China and Venezuela for local assembly.
syncreon had previously worked with GM between 1963–2007 in Tillsonburg, ON. to develop these export programs. A key element in GM's award decision was syncreon's strong WMS, quality and operating systems and emphasis on striving to create world-class global supply chain solutions for its customers.
