syncreon’s Global Director of Reverse & Repair Portfolio Management, Sean White, has been accepted into the University of Plymouth, UK’s Professional Mentoring Program!
The Program’s goal is to work with University of Plymouth students to raise career aspirations and promote professional success. Undergraduate and postgraduate students are matched with experienced professionals to enhance their personal and employable skills, and students meet and work with their mentors over a period of six months. For mentors, the Program is an opportunity to utilize their coaching skills, reflect on their position and industry and act as a positive role model.
When asked why he applied for the Program, Mr. White said, “After over 30 years of working in the industry, I decided it was time to give something back to that which has given me so much. I believe I’ve had an interesting and varied career, working at all levels up to and including Senior Management, with the past 18 years overseas. It may even inspire some [students] to also take flight overseas to broaden and deepen their experience in the same way I did.”
Mr. White hopes that his extensive, diverse experience in Reverse Logistics and Manufacturing will give the industry a unique and interesting dimension for his mentee.
The Program’s next run will begin in September after the start of the new academic year. Congratulations to Mr. White, who will be an outstanding mentor to his chosen student!
