  Logistic Center Manager- DFW   
  Location:   Dallas, Texas  –  USA  –  North America  
 


Qualifications

Education:

 
 
  • College degree in Business/ Management/Logistics preferred
 
 

 
Experience / Skills / Other Requirements:

 
 

  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with 5 to 10 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Must possess suitable business acumen to understand and impact a profitable P&L.
  • Intermediate skill level using Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high volume, multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to successfully communicate - both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to follow through and provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Must demonstrate sound business judgment and decision-making skills.
 
 


Responsibilities

 
 

This position is responsible for meeting existing client needs, extending local client relationships to expand business opportunities, work with Shift Managers to meet service and profit objectives, implement strategy to attain goals while resolving business issues and management of the facility.

  • Provide leadership, direction, and support career development to associates.
  • Ensure adherence to all customer inventory, value added services, storage and delivery requirements.
  • Ensures service delivery is flawless in execution and achievement of customer service metrics
  • Understands and ensures customer profitability with LC
  • Ensure all DOT and OSHA requirements are met.
  • Maintain a positive professional relationship with clients.
  • Provide frequent, open communication while maintaining an open door policy
  • Motivate employees to achieve goals.
  • Seek process improvement in operations, employees, processes and technologies continually.
  • Implement and take ownership for compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure best practices are maintained while utilizing trending analysis
  • Work with and provide assistance to Implementations and SPM for training, auditing and escalation needs.
