
Currently in launch mode, syncreon-US operations are located in a stand-alone facility within minutes of the Chrysler assembly plant; and will provide inbound logistics services including parts sequencing and small lot & bulk metering.
Commenting on the significance to syncreon-US in being selected for this business award, Carlo Tamburro, Vice President Sales & Marketing, North America stated, “Particularly in light of the current industry-wide downturn this [award] is clearly a reflection of the strong and close relationships we have worked hard to build and maintain with Chrysler throughout our other operations, and a testimony to the efficiencies we are able to deliver.”.
The contract scope also includes various transportation services. In addition to the assembly parts shuttle between syncreon and Chrysler’s facility, syncreon-US will also be providing switching services moving trailers in and out of the customer’s yard.
